Featured: Top 10 Admired Women Leaders in Business, 2022
Back in January we were sought out by Insight Success and recognized as two female leaders in the marketing space and wanted to feature us during International Women’s Month. They found us through our social platforms, which then took them to our website and Google reviews. After going through the interview process, we were asked if we would want to be featured in both their online and print magazine. And well… we said yes.
The main takeaway from this article is that getting to this level of recognition, an award winning firm with niche services was not easy and didn’t just happen overnight. When Carly and I created MAM back in 2017 we were either pregnant or had very young babies. There was no difference between day and night for us. If we weren’t tending to our family, we were working on building our company.
Running a small business is hard, especially over the past two years. While we survived COVID and even grew, I feel like 2021 and 2022 are the years of uncertainty and hardships. The economy is unpredictable, the workforce is a bit entitled (ya I said it…) and the value of loyalty is hard to find.
A few weeks ago, I was at a retirement party for a close friend and I was humbled by the appraisal of strangers and old friends on how they were inspired and felt that they may have a fighting chance to have a small business and how inspired they were to see someone they knew succeed. It was refreshing to hear and also rewarding to know that the work Carly and I have done and do on a daily basis inspires others to follow their dreams.
If anything comes out of this article for you when you read it (which we hope you do), we hope that you find some strength and confidence in your future decisions and we hope that you can recognize, if you put in the hard work and dedication, you will also succeed.
XO,
Rachel

Carly Benewith: A Young Visionary Wanting More
Building a business often requires entrepreneurs to pour most of their time and energy into their ventures and that is exactly what Carly did at the age of 25. Unlike most millennials, Carly was ready to build her own empire and reap the rewards of her labor and time at an early age. Carly’s goal was to create a business that offered recurring revenue that would eliminate the stress of having to find new business month after month.
