Meet Taylor: Our Newest Google Ads Expert

The world of digital marketing moves fast, and Google Ads is no exception. From frequent algorithm updates to shifting consumer behaviors, staying ahead requires expertise, adaptability, and constant learning. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce Taylor, our newest addition to our Google Ads team at Mountain Air Marketing.

Since joining our team, Taylor has jumped right into optimizing campaigns, refining ad strategies, and helping our clients get in front of the right audience at the right time. With a passion for data-driven decision-making, creative ad development, and continuous learning, she’s already making a huge impact.

But don’t just take our word for it—learn more about her experience, expertise, and insights in her own words.

Getting to Know Her Role at Mountain Air Marketing

  • What are some of your key responsibilities as part of the team?

I manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns to make sure our clients are getting the best results. That means focusing on high-intent keywords, tweaking strategies to drive more leads, and constantly analyzing performance to see what’s working (and what’s not). I also collaborate with the team to troubleshoot, brainstorm, and make sure our clients’ campaigns align with their goals. Basically, I help businesses get in front of the right people at the right time—and make sure their ad spend actually works for them.

  • How has your experience with Google Ads evolved since joining MAM?

Since joining MAM, my experience with Google Ads has evolved a lot. I’ve realized that everyone does things a little differently—each company has its own take on strategy, tactics, and how they approach campaigns. It’s been great learning from my team, who bring their own unique perspectives and expertise. It’s really shown me how important it is to have an open mind, change your perspective when needed, and learn from the people you’re surrounded by.

Passion for Digital Marketing & Google Ads

  • How do you stay on top of Google’s frequent ad updates and trends?

The digital world is always changing, and Google’s constantly pushing out new updates and features. User behavior is shifting too, so it’s important to stay on top of it all. To keep sharp, I set aside time each week to catch up on the latest digital marketing news. I also pay attention to what other digital marketing specialists are talking about to stay in the loop and learn from what’s working for others. It’s all about staying flexible and being ready to adapt as trends evolve.

Creativity & Strategy in Ad Campaigns

  • How do you balance data-driven decision-making with creativity when crafting ad campaigns?

For me, it’s all about finding the sweet spot between data and creativity. Data gives me the insights I need to guide decisions and fine-tune campaigns, but creativity is what makes an ad pop. When I’m putting together a campaign, I try to think like a user—what would catch their eye, what would make them stop scrolling? It’s all about the psychology behind what gets people to engage. I use the data to guide me, but the creative side is where I can really make the ad stand out and connect with the audience.

  • What’s a common misconception businesses have about running successful Google Ads?

A common misconception I see is that businesses believe Google Ads is a “set it and forget it” solution for success, or that it’s the “holy grail” of digital marketing. While Google Ads can drive traffic and deliver quick results, it’s not the ultimate fix-all. It’s just one piece of a bigger puzzle. You can’t put all your eggs in one basket—Google Ads needs to be part of a well-rounded strategy that’s customized to the specific needs of the business. Plus, running successful campaigns requires constant refinement and testing. What works for one business might not work for another, so ongoing optimization is key. Google Ads can certainly deliver short-term wins, but without a broader strategy and regular adjustments, it won’t sustain long-term growth.

Personal Background & Unique Perspective

  • What experiences have shaped your approach to marketing and analytics?

I’ve worked with businesses of all sizes, from small local companies to large enterprises. Each experience has shown me that every business needs its own unique approach. What works for one might not work for another, so I’ve learned to adapt strategies based on the specific goals and challenges of each client. It’s all about understanding what makes each business tick and tailoring the marketing to get the best results.

  • Do you have any hobbies or creative passions outside of marketing that influence your work?

I love movies and reading because they’re basically a masterclass in storytelling and subtle persuasion—just like great marketing. The way a movie uses music, visuals, and dialogue to make you feel something or how a book can completely pull you in with just words—it’s all about capturing attention and emotion. That same creativity plays into marketing, whether it’s writing ad copy or figuring out what’s going to make someone stop scrolling. Plus, I’m always curious about how people think and what drives their decisions, which helps me create campaigns that actually connect with the right audience.

Being Part of the MAM Team

  • What has been your favorite part about working at Mountain Air Marketing so far?

The best part has been the team. I get to work with an amazing group of hardworking, supportive women who make every day fun and collaborative. Plus, I love seeing the real impact we make—helping small businesses grow and actually get in front of the right people. It’s super rewarding to know our work isn’t marketing, but actually making a difference for real businesses. And getting to do that with a team that’s just as passionate makes it even better.

  • How does the collaborative environment at MAM inspire you in your work?

The environment at MAM is really open and supportive, which makes it easy to share ideas and challenge each other to come up with better ones. Everyone brings a different perspective, and that helps spark creativity and new approaches.
