Our 5 biggest marketing takeaways of 2025 ⬇️1️⃣ Our 5 biggest marketing takeaways of 2025 ⬇️1️⃣ If it didn’t get saved, shared, or sent... it didn’t work.
Likes became a vanity metric. The real signal lived in dark social: DMs, texts, threads, screenshots. The content that converted moved privately first, and often couldn’t be tracked. If it wasn’t worth sending to someone else, it wasn’t strong enough.2️⃣ AI scaled great thinking, but it didn’t replace it.
The winners didn’t let AI become their brain. They used it as a repurposing engine. Depth plus speed beat polish. Original POVs mattered more than ever because everyone had access to the same tools.3️⃣ Long-form became the source of truth.
Podcasts, YouTube, essays, and newsletters made a comeback, not despite AI, but because of it. One deep conversation fueled an entire ecosystem of short-form, search, and social. Long-form built trust. Short-form carried it everywhere else.4️⃣ People, POVs, and conversation built brands (not Canva).
Employee content outperformed brand accounts. Faces beat logos. Repeated exposure to the same people and ideas built familiarity faster than constant reinvention.
